Ok, I have just a minute to update so I'm sorry if this is brief. Penelope was transferred to LeBonheur last night about 7pm because of her aortic coarctation. She's being given prostaglandins to keep her ductus open but they have some side effects that need close monitoring. She had a pretty good night other than more frequent apnea episodes (breathing stops and drops her heartrate and O2 sats) which were getting more severe today. The doctor (who's name I have to figure out how to spell before I'll post it) is very kind and informative and happened to be there when she had an episode. He decided to put her on a "bubble cpap" which will help her breathing regulate and allow her to focus on growth and rest. Right now they're seeing how she does on the CPAP but really expect her to be intubated by tonight. Please pray that she does well enough on the CPAP that she doesn't have to be intubated (she's been clear about how she feels about intubation in the past).
Lydia is still doing well at Methodist Germantown. We're asking everyone we come in contact with about getting the girls back together and some people are encouraging while some others aren't but we'll keep asking until we get what our girls need. Please pray for this to work out well.
We spent the night here at Lebonheur last night, which lead to a very unattractive morning...but some sweet friends came to the rescue with a toiletry delivery and, after a shower, I feel human again. Also, because I'm providing nutrition for the babies, the hospital provides my breakfast lunch and dinner. It's a blessing. So many blessings! Including you.

Thanks so much for your prayers. Please keep them coming.
