3-22

What a sweet day!  This morning Lydia had an appointment to get her RSV vaccine, had a good visit with our favorite pastor, then aunt Linda, Lydia, and I took a good long walk on the green line.  Then after an afternoon of relaxing (and taking care of Lydi), she and I walked up to the park near our house to meet up with some great friends (she was covered in the Moby Wrap, don't worry).  When I got home there was a lovely hot dinner ready for me, then it was time to visit Penny.  Aunt Sam met me there and Penny's Mah Mah and Yeh Yeh were there too!  Paaaarty! Penelope took her WHOLE 37cc BOTTLE!!! We were all impressed.  She was also more alert than I think I've ever seen her.  She and I stared at each other for a while.  Then she stared at her great Aunt Sam, then at her Mah Mah. Sweet sweet sweet.  Then a friend dropped off a sweet gift for me at the hospital, then I got home to another sweet gift left at the front door. Now I'm writing about my great day, feeding Lydia, then going to bed. Yea, good day.

OK, time for some praise for more miracles.  While talking to a dear friend, I realized that they've been extra abundant in the past few days and they need to be recognized.  First, Penny didn't have to be intubated for eye surgery, just a quick shot and she was done!  Praise the Lord.  Miracle number two...while trying to figure out how much we owe the board of education to make sure our insurance doesn't lapse, I spoke with the nicest person I've ever spoken too who worked there.  She had preemie twins herself and told me to let her know if I ever needed anything.  And who's the one who decides if your insurance is canceled and if you get grace on paying.....she is.  Praise the Lord.  If our insurance had been canceled we would be at least a million dollars in debt.  Praise the Lord.  Jonathan has a job. Praise the Lord.  There is such thing as mobile video calling and it's in a price range that is attainable for us.  Praise the Lord.  Our children are both alive.  Praise the Lord!!!!!!!
